I actually made this from my plant which grew in my garden so yes yes it was very satisfying.This is a must in everyones fridge and can be used in so many ways.

Ingredients you will need for the Pesto :
- 4 cups fresh basil leaves
- 2 garlic cloves chopped finely
- 1/2 cup pine nuts
- 1 large lime (For zest and lime lime juice)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese
Method:
- First make sure you wash the basil very well to ensure there is no dust or dirt left.
- Then place the wet leaves on a dry and leave to dry.
- Then heat a frying pan ,and then roast the pine nuts.( make sure you turn them so both sides turn a golden brown)
- In a food processor place all the dry ingredients with the olive oil and the juice of the lime ,also add the lemon zest.
- All the ingredients should be proceesed well till you get a bitty green paste.
