HOW TO MAKE
Cinnamon Delight Cake
with Pistachio and Brown Syrup
with Pistachio and Brown Syrup
( serves 8 people -Best served with Tea or "Chai karak" )
Ingredients you will need for Cake :
- 1 ½ cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- ½ cup white sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- Vanilla essence
Ingredients you will need for Brown Syrup :
- 1 cup water
- ½ cup Brown sugar
- Cinnamon powder
- 8 pieces of pistachios crushed
Method:
- First place the butter, white sugar and salt and use mixer.
- Then mix the egg and milk
- Add the vanilla essence
- Mix the flour with the baking powder in separate bowl.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the mixer
- You should get a smooth light batter.
- Place the batter in the cake tin (butter tin before placing batter.)
- While the cake bakes for 20 mins (200 F)
- Place the 1 cup water and sugar in a pan on high flame
- Once the sugar is dissolved completely close the flame and leave it to cool should be thick like a syrup.
- Take the cake place on a rack to cool
- When serving pour the syrup on the cake and sprinkle cinnamon and pistachio on top of it.
that's such an easy flavourful cake. love it.
